I recently had lunch with a friend I haven't seen in about 3 years. She got married about 4 years ago.
I wasn't sure if the conversation would flow or if it would be awkward. I had some questions in mind that I could bust out if needed. Considering she's been married 4 years and we're almost 30, one of the more obvious ones in my arsenal was to ask if she was planning on having kids soon.
About 15 minutes into our lunch, she referred to one of her pregnant friends as "harboring a fetus."
Guess I can skip that one, then.
